September 22nd. The first day of fall. EEK I’m so excited!

Today I wanted to share with you guys some of my current fav fall statement pieces. You know…those amazing pieces you have ready in your wardrobe for a day you want to turn heads. I believe the two most important aspects of your closet is your staple pieces and your statement pieces. Take one statement item and pair it with some staples and you will look super fashionable. If you’re not super big on making a huge statement, don’t worry, statement pieces aren’t always incredibly outgoing, you can rock them in an understated way! I have a wide variety of them for you today, so lets get scrolling 🙂

Piped Blouse

I love this blouse from Abercrombie and Fitch so so much. It reminds me of something one of my favorite bloggers Damsel in Dior would wear. I would style this top with black jeans, half of the shirt tucked in, a silver necklace, and black oxfords.

Studded Shirt

One of my favorite things to do in my free time is watch trend alert videos on Youtube. In almost every single video, the person has mentioned that Western/Cowboy inspired items are coming into style and I think this top from ZARA is a very modern way to do it. What really sells me on it being “Cowboy” inspired is the studded collar. I would style this with my favorite pair of boyfriend jeans and some white sneakers (I would only tuck in the front of the shirt).

Berlin Buckle Croc Embossed Bootie

In the fall time I LOVE wearing all black outfits. I am very much so a girly girly but everyone once in awhile I like to feel a little badass and sexy. These shoes from Nordstrom would look so bomb with an all black outfit. Just from owning these shoes, I’d feel cool.

The Dea Dress

I am drooling over this Free People dress. I love how casual the model styled it in the photo above, but there are also so many ways you could dress it up. I would most definitely style this amazing piece with a leather jacket and either white sneakers for a super casual look or some black booties.

Meghan Shirt

Animal Print may just be the biggest trend this fall. Although animal prints are a classic that almost never go out of style, they sure make their rounds of popularity. This year they are the coolest chic in school. I would usually rock animal print in a subtle way with a belt or shoes but this year I’m really trying to push my style to be more outgoing. I really love this button down from Lauren Elizabeth’s new collection XLE the Label. I would style this top with black jeans and black booties or (did you guess it) white sneakers.

Chelsea Crew Right Here Oxford Heel

Sometimes in the fall you want is to keep it simple with a sweater and jeans. Take a simple outfit like that and spice it up with a fun pair of shoes. These Oxford’s from ModCloth caught my eye while I was browsing their site. I love that they have a heel to make your legs look nice and long, which you all know I love.

Women’s Button-Front Jumpsuit

This Abercrombie jumpsuit has me in awe. Personally, I think this jumpsuit looks much more expensive than it’s price which is always a steal. Girl, you are going to look so fashionable rocking this jumpsuit this fall. I would style this exactly how the model is and would just add a leather jacket if it gets cold.

Rebecca Minkoff Jean Leather Crossbody Bag

I couldn’t finish this blog post before sharing an adorable bag with you all. I came across this adorable Rebecca Minkoff crossbody and thought it would be the perfect fall bag. Most fall activities such as apple picking, pumpkin patches, haunted houses, and festivals are always a day long activity. You’re going to want a bag that is small/light, fashionable, and big enough to fit your belongings in. I think this one is the perfect match.

You may be thinking, “Marta where are your favorite sweaters and jackets?”. Don’t worry, I have SO many favorite sweaters and jackets that they are going to each have their very own blog post later this week. Let me know if you’re excited for it!

Always remember to love who you are and be bold this fall season with your style.

xoxo, marta bean.
